Qyos Bloom is the integration of an Actiu Qyos acoustic booth with Somia Bloom, the AI spatial sound system developed by yeshcube. Actiu designs, manufactures and markets the booth. yeshcube develops the audio system and the Somia architecture that structures the experience. The integration is presented under the Somia Within certification.

The booth retains its functions of acoustic isolation, privacy and concentration. Somia Bloom uses those acoustic conditions to incorporate sound and voice-guided experiences intended for everyday wellbeing, pauses and focus.

The emotional infrastructure concept describes this expanded use. The physical space provides acoustic isolation while also hosting a structured experience that is accessible from inside the booth and compatible with its conventional uses.

The acoustic foundation of Qyos

Qyos is Actiu’s family of acoustic booths for offices and shared spaces. The range includes five formats for different capacities:

  • Qyos 100 for one person.
  • Qyos 150 for one person with a more spacious interior.
  • Qyos 200 for two people.
  • Qyos 400 for groups of up to four people.
  • Qyos 600 for groups of up to six people.

The booths combine acoustic isolation, glazed walls, ventilation, LED lighting and electrical connectivity. Their interiors can be configured for calls, video conferences, small meetings and tasks requiring concentration.

The different sizes allow the sound system to be configured according to the internal volume, booth layout and intended experience.

Somia Bloom integration

Somia Bloom brings spatial sound and the Somia artificial intelligence architecture into acoustic booths. The system adapts to spaces from different manufacturers and in different formats through an audio configuration scaled to each project.

The physical layer has two systems:

  • Bloom Echo uses two speakers in a stereo configuration and is intended for single-person booths and compact spaces.
  • Bloom Pulse uses four speakers in a surround configuration and is intended for larger booths and shared spaces.

Both systems support two installation modes. IN installation incorporates the audio inside the panels. ON installation places the equipment on the surface of the booth. The selection depends on its construction and the required degree of visual integration.

Somia Bloom system integrated into an acoustic booth

This architecture keeps the physical audio system separate from the Somia core. The installation provides spatial reproduction inside the booth. Somia organizes the content, interaction, safety rules and capabilities available in each mode.

A sound-guided experience

The person starts the experience from their mobile phone. The device acts as the control point and, when conversation is used, as the voice input. From that point onward, interaction takes place through the booth’s sound system.

The experience applies the audio-first and zero-screens paradigms that yeshcube uses in the development of its voice interaction products. Voice, music and soundscapes replace navigation through menus or screens inside the space.

Bloom Wellness organizes experiences into three modes:

  • Sensory Experiences brings together soundscapes, music and audio content that work without conversation.
  • Immersive Experiences includes guided conversations with Somia and experiences intended for pausing, decompression and listening.
  • MyBloom Experiences supports structured programs adapted to the rhythms and objectives defined for a team or organization.

The specific configuration determines which modes and content are available. The booth retains its usual functions for calls, meetings or individual work while the system is inactive.

Privacy inside the booth

Somia Bloom does not include microphones inside the booth. Voice input comes from the person’s mobile phone and remains under their direct control.

This decision preserves the privacy function of an acoustic booth and avoids permanent listening devices inside the space. The organization responsible for the installation should provide information about data processing through the application, retention, involved providers and available controls.

The use of memories or personalization features depends on activation and the Somia configuration. Privacy should be managed through data minimisation, proportionate permissions, access controls and clear mechanisms for viewing, modifying or deleting information.

The role of Somia Within

Qyos Bloom integrates Somia Bloom under the Somia Within certification. This framework establishes shared criteria for bringing the Somia architecture into first-party and third-party products.

The assessment covers technical compatibility, integration security, privacy, operational transparency and evidence readiness. The certification provides a common framework while the booth and the artificial intelligence system remain products from different companies.

Qyos Bloom has a non-clinical wellbeing scope. Its experiences are intended for adults and do not diagnose conditions or provide medical, psychological or psychiatric services.

Integration into workplaces

In an office, Qyos Bloom can be incorporated as a resource within a wellbeing and workspace plan. The booth provides a private environment for taking a break, listening to a guided experience or preparing for a task that requires concentration.

Deployment should be coordinated with organizational measures addressing working conditions. Workload management, schedules, autonomy, professional support and psychosocial risks remain necessary within any workplace health strategy.

Evaluation may combine indicators covering use, accessibility, satisfaction, incidents and perceived experience. Possible changes in stress, absence, productivity or workplace climate require specific studies and interpretation separate from other organizational changes.

Applications in other spaces

The combination of acoustic isolation and sound experiences makes Qyos Bloom relevant to different environments.

Airports and stations

The booth can provide a private space for resting, focusing or using a sound experience during a wait. Deployment should account for accessibility, user turnover, maintenance and hygiene.

Hospitals and healthcare centers

It can provide a pause space for professionals, companions or relatives. Its function remains within everyday wellbeing and requires clear separation from healthcare services.

Universities and training centers

The booth may support concentration, preparation for activities or pauses during periods of high academic demand. Institutional policies should define access, data use and integration with other support resources.

Hotels and hospitality spaces

The integration can provide private sound and rest experiences within common areas, workspaces or environments intended for wellbeing.

Industrial design and integrated technology

The system preserves the visual language of the Qyos booth. The absence of screens inside the space reduces the visible presence of technology and keeps the interior experience uncluttered.

Separating the booth from the Somia Bloom system also allows physical maintenance, system updates, content and configuration to be managed independently for each installation.

Actiu remains responsible for the booth and its physical performance. yeshcube remains responsible for Somia Bloom, its audio system, its software and the integration of the Somia architecture.

The scope of emotional infrastructure

Qyos Bloom brings three layers together within the same space:

  • An acoustic booth providing privacy and reduction of outside noise.
  • A spatial sound system adapted to the internal volume.
  • An artificial intelligence architecture organizing sound and guided experiences.

This combination expands the booth’s functions and incorporates wellbeing and focus into the everyday design of spaces. Its value should be assessed through installation quality, ease of use, safety and outcomes observed in each context.

Qyos Bloom is a specific application of Somia Bloom within an Actiu booth. The integration shows how a familiar piece of professional furniture can incorporate a technology layer for wellbeing experiences while retaining distinct responsibilities for each company.
