Restore Apps Program is yeshcube’s research and development line dedicated to building conversational applications for habit recovery, emotional regulation and everyday support.

The program uses the term restoration to describe processes in which someone needs to recover stability, continuity or the ability to act. It might mean rebuilding a sleep routine, reducing a compulsive behavior, regaining consistency or reorganising habits after a period of exhaustion.

The applications are designed as non-clinical tools. Their role is to accompany specific processes through short, structured interactions, without replacing healthcare, psychological or social support where that is needed.

Conversational applications with a defined role

Restore Apps Program does not build a single general-purpose application. Each app is designed around a defined problem, population and objective.

That approach makes it possible to tune the conversational model, the language, the length of the interactions and the safeguards to the characteristics of each field. An application aimed at sleep needs a different structure from one built to work on procrastination, bereavement or one’s relationship with food.

The artificial intelligence does not act as an open assistant able to weigh in on anything. It operates within the function established for the application and keeps clear limits on what it can address.

Somia as the conversational architecture

The applications in Restore Apps Program are built on Somia, yeshcube’s conversational artificial intelligence architecture.

Somia provides the context processing, the interaction protocols and the rules that determine how the system should respond. Each application then adds its own content, objectives and constraints.

Solutions that reach the necessary level of development will be able to incorporate Somia Within, the integration framework that sets the technical, ethical and safety requirements for products built on this architecture.

Three design principles

The program’s applications share three technological principles.

Audio-first

Voice is the main channel of interaction. This approach reduces the dependence on menus, forms and complex visual interfaces, and makes it possible to hold a conversation while the screen plays a secondary role.

Audio-first does not mean removing the graphical interface entirely. It means designing the experience so that its main functions can be used through voice and sound.

Distraction-Free

The applications avoid mechanisms designed to artificially prolong time spent in them, such as continuous rewards, leaderboards, unnecessary notifications or endless content sequences.

Each interaction has to serve a specific purpose and end once that purpose is met. Success is measured by how useful the application is within the process it accompanies. The number of opens and minutes of use fall outside that criterion.

AI-native

Artificial intelligence is part of the application’s initial architecture. It is not bolted on afterward as an isolated feature.

This makes it possible to design from the outset what information the system needs, what decisions it can make, what limits it must respect and how its behavior will be reviewed during development.

Which applications Restore Apps Program builds

The current lines of work cover different everyday processes related to habits and emotional regulation.

A first area studies applications for sleep management, restoring routines and consistency. It also covers everyday focus, procrastination and one’s relationship with technology.

Another line addresses compulsive behaviors, addiction prevention and a mindful relationship with food. These applications are conceived as tools for support and prevention, not as specialist treatments.

The program also researches applications for bereavement, loss, life transitions, sustained non-clinical stress and rebuilding routines after burnout or a period of isolation.

It also considers solutions for adolescence, bullying and other particularly sensitive stages. In those cases the design requires additional limits, appropriate supervision and validation specific to the population it addresses.

Development and validation before transfer

The areas included in the program are lines of research and development. Their presence within Restore Apps Program does not mean that every application is finished, commercially available or validated for any context.

Each solution has to be evaluated against its purpose, its risks and its intended population. Validation has to examine its technical behavior, its acceptance, its safety and its ability to accompany the defined process without creating dependency or unduly widening its scope of action.

Restore Apps Program provides a common structure for developing these applications, keeping a shared conversational architecture and adapting each product to the specific problem it sets out to address.
