Open research at yeshcube for the second quarter of 2026

yeshcube begins the second quarter of 2026 with ten active research, development and validation lines. The agenda covers health, voice interaction, cultural adaptation, emotional regulation, children, sport, aging and recovery after high-pressure experiences.
The lines are at different stages. Some have defined pilots and evaluation conditions. Others are progressing through the design of protocols, content, technologies or future tests with participants.
The work is organized according to the ERL scale, the framework used by yeshcube to assess the maturity of evidence before transferring a solution.
Research agenda for the quarter
The active research combines internal projects, application programs and collaborations with external organizations. Each line addresses a specific question and requires evaluation criteria suited to its population, setting and purpose.
The agenda includes a conversational-support pilot, linguistic research, the development of specialized applications, continued validation with adults and lines focused on children, sport, aging and recovery.
BeHealthy Calvià pilot
The BeHealthy Calvià pilot studies the use of the Ika conversational system within the BeHealthy program, developed with IKI Health and Calvià Town Council.
The planned intervention includes 150 women over six months and applies principles from Motivational Interviewing to conversational interaction. Motivational Interviewing is a communication method used to explore personal motivation and support behavioral change through a collaborative relationship.
The pilot aims to assess the relationship between voice-based support and adherence to habits related to health and wellbeing. The analysis will need to consider participation, continuity of use and changes in the variables established by the protocol.
Noor Program
The Noor Program investigates the development of conversational voice capabilities for languages with limited coverage in commercial speech-synthesis systems.
The line includes Darija, Wolof, Bambara, Tarifit and Pulaar. The program addresses voice generation and the cultural adaptation of interactions intended to support migrants.
The research will need to examine pronunciation, comprehension, acceptance of the voices and suitability of the content for each linguistic and cultural context. This development requires appropriate corpora, participation from speakers and evaluation criteria specific to each language.
Restore Apps Program
Restore Apps Program investigates conversational applications intended to support the recovery of habits and routines.
Initial areas include sleep, mindful eating, procrastination, grief, addictive behaviors and rebuilding routines after occupational burnout.
Each application will need a defined purpose, target population and dedicated interaction pathway. Usefulness hypotheses will be assessed independently for each area.
The program must also establish the boundaries between education, wellbeing, conversational support and clinical care, particularly in applications related to grief, addiction or mental health.
VVAVVE validation
The validation of VVAVVE™ continues the study of the wellness mask and the audio experiences integrated into the device.
This phase expands the validation samples and extends measurement over time. Planned variables include perceived stress, mental clarity, user experience and adherence.
The expansion will allow the team to study whether observed results are maintained across different participants, settings and periods of use. Conclusions will need to distinguish subjective assessment, changes recorded through instruments and potential effects associated with use of the device.
Care Program
Care Program studies the use of conversational and audio experiences in workplace settings.
Its research areas include stress regulation, management of mental workload and recovery during the working day. The experiences take place in acoustic cabins equipped with systems certified through Somia Within.
The program builds on previous research into cabins and audio experiences with adults. During this quarter, work will continue on protocols, conditions of use and application settings.
Subsequent validation will need to examine the duration of observed effects, frequency of use, participant acceptance and integration of the resource within organizations.
Arena Program
Arena Program investigates applications of conversational technology in high-performance sport.
The line includes emotional regulation, preparation before activity and recovery after high-pressure situations. It also considers variables related to training load and injury prevention where an appropriate evaluation protocol is available.
The research requires participation from athletes, technical staff and professionals specializing in exercise physiology or sports neuroscience.
Each hypothesis will need to be associated with defined indicators. The relationship between a conversational experience and physical or performance variables requires designs capable of distinguishing perception, association and effect.
Horizon Program
Horizon Program addresses the design of support systems for stages associated with aging, loss of autonomy and end-of-life processes.
The research is intended for residential, health and social care, and home settings. Its questions include accessibility of voice interaction, understanding of instructions and acceptance by users, families and professionals.
The program must also examine dependency risks, unintended replacement of human contact, attribution of capabilities to the system and use with people experiencing cognitive impairment.
Solutions developed within Horizon will maintain bounded functions and require the involvement of professionals and carers.
Resilience Program
Resilience Program studies forms of support following high-pressure experiences or prolonged exposure to demanding situations.
Priority cohorts include emergency and rescue personnel, people returning from intensive operational contexts and families affected by periods of prolonged isolation.
The program focuses on defining experiences, usage protocols and referral criteria. Its development must distinguish wellbeing and prevention tools from interventions requiring specialist care.
Initial stages will assess safety, acceptance, perceived usefulness and suitability of content before examining broader outcomes.
ATLAS protocol
The ATLAS protocol, Audio Therapeutic Library & Adaptive System, organizes the criteria used to select and classify audio content for Somia experiences.
Its development includes content review, creation of a taxonomy and definition of metadata describing the purpose, duration, context and evidence associated with each resource.
The library may include guided breathing, music, environmental sounds and other audio-based interventions. Inclusion of each item requires documentation of its source, conditions of use and available support.
During this quarter, work will continue on content curation and the rules governing selection and adaptation within each experience.
Conversational technology for children and families
This line investigates the use of interactive voice narratives to support decision-making and facilitate conversations between children and adults.
The work is embodied in Kiwikidoo™, an interactive adventure platform in which each choice changes how the story develops.
The research will examine understanding of decisions, reception of the format, age suitability, spoken interaction and conversations that may arise after the experience.
It must also assess privacy, adult supervision, accessibility and the boundaries of artificial intelligence in products intended for children.
Maturity and validation of the active lines
The ten lines are at different stages of maturity. The BeHealthy Calvià pilot has a planned population, duration and methodology. Other research expands earlier validation or focuses on defining protocols, content and conditions of use.
These differences determine the type of result available at each stage. An active program documents an area of work. A pilot gathers data within a defined setting. Validation requires results analyzed according to the relevant protocol.
The ERL scale records progression from an initial hypothesis to evidence sufficient for transfer. A level is assigned to each specific solution or application according to its results and the quality of the available evidence.
Collaboration and transfer
The second-quarter agenda combines internal research, institutional collaboration and preparation for future tests.
