This page explains how participation in yeshcube Praxis 26/27 is structured from an academic and training perspective.

Praxis accepts applicants from different educational systems. As a result, the specific conditions of each participation may vary depending on the participant’s course of study, educational institution, type of placement, duration, and applicable regulations.

The information on this page is for guidance purposes. Final participation remains subject to the documentation and conditions formally agreed with the participant’s educational institution and to the legislation in force at that time.

Praxis is an educational program

yeshcube Praxis 26/27 is an applied learning program that combines structured learning, mentoring, and supervised participation in active hub projects.

Participation in Praxis must take place under an academic, training or, where legally required, contractual framework that allows the experience to be integrated into each participant’s educational pathway.

Selection for Praxis does not replace this formalization process.

Participation becomes effective only once the applicable framework has been properly established.

Who can participate

Praxis may consider applications from different forms of regulated education whenever a valid mechanism exists to formalize participation.

These may include:

• Bachelor’s degree programs.
• Master’s degree programs.
• PhD programs where a compatible placement or training framework exists.
• Vocational Education and Training.
• Other forms of regulated education that include a recognized practical training phase, placement, or equivalent framework.
• Programs completed at foreign institutions where participation can be legally formalized in Spain.

Enrollment in regulated education is an initial requirement, although each educational institution may establish additional requirements of its own.

University academic placements

External university academic placements are currently governed in Spain, as a general framework, by Royal Decree 592/2014 and by the specific regulations of each university.

Spanish regulations define these placements as supervised educational activities designed to allow students to apply and complement the knowledge acquired during their studies.

A university placement normally requires a cooperation framework between the university and the host organization together with an individual learning project.

That project must connect the proposed activities with the competencies the student is expected to develop through their studies.

Curricular and extracurricular placements

University placements may be:

• Curricular placements integrated into the degree program.
• Extracurricular placements undertaken voluntarily during the student’s studies when authorized by the university.

Whether one or the other can be used for Praxis depends on each university’s regulations and procedures.

yeshcube does not unilaterally determine whether a placement is curricular or extracurricular.

University agreement and learning project

Before a university placement begins, the instruments required by the university must be defined.

Depending on the institution, these may include:

• Academic cooperation agreement.
• Individual annex.
• Learning project.
• Identification of the parties.
• Placement period.
• Schedule.
• Number of hours.
• Educational objectives.
• Planned activities.
• Monitoring system.
• Financial conditions, where applicable.
• Social Security arrangements.
• Insurance or other applicable conditions.

The exact terminology and procedure may vary between universities.

University tutoring

University placements must normally include:

• An academic tutor appointed by the university.
• A tutor appointed by the host organization.

The yeshcube tutor supervises the participant’s activity within the hub and maintains the necessary coordination with the academic tutor.

Students must be able to report issues and participate in the monitoring procedures established for their placement.

Praxis may also include track leads, mentors, and program specialists, but these roles do not replace the tutoring structure required by the applicable academic framework.

Educational nature of university placements

External academic placements are educational in nature.

Their content must remain connected to the learning project and may not be used to replace the functions of an employment position.

For this reason, Praxis project participation is structured around educational objectives, supervision, and the progressive development of competencies.

Vocational Education and Training

Spain’s current Vocational Education and Training system combines learning at the educational institution with training in a company or equivalent organization.

Participation by VET students in Praxis must be integrated into the training plan established between the educational institution and the host organization.

The current framework distinguishes two main regimes:

• General regime.
• Intensive regime.

The applicable regime depends on the student’s program and on the arrangements established by their educational institution.

General VET regime

Under the general regime, company-based training forms part of the educational process and remains training in nature.

The placement must be connected to the learning outcomes defined in the training plan.

The educational institution and the company or equivalent organization coordinate the placement, monitoring, and assessment in accordance with the applicable framework.

Participation in Praxis must therefore be adapted to this plan and to the activities recognized by the educational institution.

Intensive VET regime

The intensive VET regime follows a specific legal framework.

Where this regime applies, company-based training takes place within a contractual relationship under the applicable regulations.

An applicant from an intensive VET program will therefore require prior confirmation that yeshcube and the educational institution can correctly formalize that specific arrangement.

Selection for Praxis does not automatically imply acceptance of an intensive VET regime.

VET training plan

Company-based training must follow a plan that defines, among other matters:

• Learning outcomes.
• Activities that may be carried out in the company.
• Time distribution.
• Monitoring arrangements.
• Coordination between the educational institution and the company.
• Assessment.

Praxis must operate within this framework when the participant comes from VET.

VET tutoring

Company-based training is coordinated through:

• A dual tutor appointed by the VET institution.
• A dual tutor appointed by the company or equivalent organization.

These figures monitor the training plan and coordinate the development of the relevant learning outcomes.

yeshcube will appoint the appropriate person to fulfill its responsibilities within this framework.

Other regulated education

Praxis may also consider applications from other forms of regulated education where a recognized practical training framework exists.

The feasibility of participation must be reviewed individually with the relevant educational institution before formalization.

Duration of Praxis

Praxis 26/27 takes place during the 2026/27 academic year, but there is no single duration applicable to all participants.

Individual duration depends on:

• Educational program.
• Number of hours required by the institution.
• Type of placement or training arrangement.
• Assigned project.
• Availability.
• Academic calendar.
• Instrument used to formalize participation.

Individual dates are established during the formalization process.

Schedule

Schedules are determined individually.

They must remain compatible with the participant’s academic obligations and with the conditions established by their educational institution.

Praxis does not establish one universal schedule for all participants.

Hybrid format

Praxis operates in a hybrid format.

The balance between on-site and remote activity is defined individually according to:

• Educational institution requirements.
• Applicable legal framework.
• Learning project.
• Track.
• Project characteristics.
• Supervision and learning needs.

Where on-site activity is required, it takes place primarily at the hub’s offices and laboratory in Valencia.

The general hybrid description published on the Praxis website does not replace the conditions eventually established in each individual learning plan.

Social Security

Training placements falling within the scope of Additional Provision 52 of Spain’s General Social Security Act may give rise to specific registration and contribution obligations.

The party responsible for those obligations may vary depending on the type of placement and the formalized framework.

The applicable arrangement is therefore determined during each participant’s formalization process.

Financial conditions

Praxis does not establish a universal financial arrangement for all participants.

The existence of a stipend, allowance, compensation, or remuneration depends on:

• Type of placement.
• Applicable regulations.
• Requirements of the educational institution.
• Relevant agreement.
• Specific VET regime where applicable.

Any applicable financial conditions must be reflected in the participant’s individual documentation before participation begins.

Occupational risk prevention

Every participation must comply with the applicable health, safety, and risk prevention requirements.

The information and training required depend on the activities and spaces involved in the placement.

Access to laboratories, equipment, or specific activities may require additional training or authorization.

Insurance

Insurance requirements may vary depending on the educational institution, type of program, agreement, and individual circumstances.

Before onboarding, yeshcube and the educational institution will confirm what coverage already exists and whether additional documentation is required.

International applicants may also need to demonstrate coverage related to mobility, healthcare, or residence requirements.

International applications

Praxis accepts applications from foreign educational institutions, but each case must be assessed individually.

Participation may depend on factors including:

• Nationality.
• Country and institution where the participant is enrolled.
• Type and duration of the placement.
• Immigration status in Spain.
• Mobility program.
• Placement agreement.
• Social Security requirements.
• Applicable insurance.

The relevant legal requirements must be reviewed for each individual before participation is confirmed.

Erasmus+ and other mobility programs

Praxis may be compatible with mobility programs where the home institution and the applicable framework allow the placement to be formally arranged.

Participation in Erasmus+ or another mobility program does not automatically replace the documentation required to carry out activities at yeshcube.

Minors

A person under the age of 18 may participate only when their educational program and the applicable legal framework allow it.

Additional requirements may include:

• Additional authorizations.
• Involvement of legal representatives.
• Specific safeguarding measures.
• Procedures established by the educational institution.

Assigned project

Selection for Praxis is followed by the identification of a project compatible with the participant’s track and academic objectives.

Assignment takes into account:

• Educational background.
• Track.
• Learning objectives.
• Learning outcomes or competencies required by the educational institution.
• Placement duration.
• Previous knowledge.
• Available supervision capacity.
• Active hub projects.

Selection for Praxis does not guarantee assignment to a specific project requested by the applicant.

Praxis learning activities

In addition to project participation, Praxis includes its own educational activities.

These may include:

• Cross-disciplinary learning.
• Track-specific learning.
• Mentoring.
• Sessions with professionals.
• Sessions with specialists.
• Selected activities connected to Allies.
• Learning reviews.
• Final presentation.

Where these activities are mandatory, they should be integrated, where applicable, into the participant’s recognized learning pathway.

Assessment

Academic assessment remains the responsibility of the educational institution under its applicable rules.

yeshcube may contribute through:

• Monitoring reports.
• Tutor assessments.
• Final reports.
• Evidence of work completed.
• Documentation required by the educational institution.

yeshcube certificate of participation

yeshcube may issue its own certificate to participants who successfully complete Praxis.

The certificate confirms participation in the program.

By itself, it does not constitute:

• An official qualification.
• University credit.
• An official academic certification.
• Automatic recognition within the participant’s academic record.

Any academic recognition remains subject to the corresponding educational institution.

How formalization works

Following conditional admission, yeshcube will contact the selected applicant and, where appropriate, their educational institution.

The process may include:

1. Confirmation of enrollment and educational framework.
2. Identification of the procedure used by the educational institution.
3. Confirmation of an existing agreement or initiation of a new one.
4. Definition of the learning project or training plan.
5. Appointment of tutors.
6. Definition of duration and schedule.
7. Definition of the balance between on-site and remote activity.
8. Definition of financial conditions, where applicable.
9. Determination of Social Security responsibilities.
10. Review of prevention, insurance, and administrative documentation.
11. Signature or validation of the required documentation.
12. Confirmation of the individual onboarding date.

No required Praxis activity begins before the applicable formalization requirements have been completed.

What applicants should check with their educational institution

Before or during the selection process, it is useful to confirm:

• Whether the program allows placements or company-based training.
• Whether participation is possible during the 2026/27 academic year.
• Which placement framework the institution permits.
• Number of available or required hours.
• Permitted periods.
• Requirements for initiating an agreement.
• Responsible department or contact person.
• Financial requirements imposed by the institution, if any.
• Tutoring requirements.
• Required documentation.

Applicants do not need to know all of this before submitting the initial application where the form indicates that the information may be provided later.

What happens if the educational institution cannot formalize the placement

Admission to Praxis depends on the actual ability to formalize participation.

If the educational institution does not permit the placement, no valid framework exists, or the required conditions cannot be met, participation cannot begin under Praxis.

yeshcube may consider alternatives within the available legal and academic frameworks, but selection does not guarantee that a valid alternative will exist in every case.

Changes during formalization

Conditions initially discussed may change during coordination with the educational institution.

This may affect:

• Start date.
• Duration.
• Schedule.
• Number of hours.
• Format.
• Assigned project.
• Recognized activities.
• Tutoring.
• Financial conditions.
• Social Security arrangements.

The definitive conditions are those contained in the formally approved individual documentation.

Praxis 26/27 start date

The general planned start date is November 16, 2026.

Participants whose documentation has been completed may join according to the established schedule.

Where formalization requires additional time, individual onboarding will take place later.

The general program start date does not allow a placement to begin before the required framework is in place.

Regulatory changes

This information has been prepared according to the legal framework in force on August 19, 2026.

If regulatory changes affecting practical training enter into force before or during Praxis, yeshcube will adapt its procedures and relevant documentation as required.
