Somia joins the Universitat de València's IAtecUV incubator

The selection brings yeshcube’s project into a program specializing in artificial intelligence and digital enabling technologies to support its scientific, technological and business development

València, January 16, 2026. Somia, the conversational artificial intelligence system developed by yeshcube, has been selected to join IAtecUV, the High Technology Incubator for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Enabling Technologies promoted by the Universitat de València and the Fundació Parc Científic Universitat de València.

The selection is part of the first call for the incubation program, aimed at business projects related to artificial intelligence and other digital technologies based on R&D&I. Somia will participate in a program designed to strengthen its technological and business development and facilitate its connection with specialized scientific knowledge.

Developing Somia within the IAtecUV environment

The selection enables yeshcube to develop Somia within an environment specializing in artificial intelligence, with access to business and scientific-technological support associated with the program.

Somia focuses on applying voice-based conversational artificial intelligence to emotional wellbeing experiences. The project works on interactions that do not use screens as the primary channel and instead use conversation and sound as elements of the experience.

Joining IAtecUV will enable further scientific and technological development of the system and allow its progress to be assessed within an environment connected to the Universitat de València, the Parc Científic and the business and technology ecosystem.

Connecting research and technology transfer

IAtecUV is designed to support business projects based on artificial intelligence and digital enabling technologies and to facilitate the transfer of scientific knowledge to industry.

Somia’s selection places the project within this incubation framework and begins a period of work focused on technological maturation, specialized support and connections with scientific and business resources.

For yeshcube, the selection strengthens Somia’s development process through its incorporation into a university-based structure specializing in artificial intelligence and technology transfer.
